Horizons Based Beam Team Activities: Beam Team volunteers are the heart of LHM Foundation’s Horizons transitional housing program. They help by welcoming all at reception, serving meals at dinner and breakfast, and more!

Community Based Beam Team Activities: When we work together, 1 plus 1 can equal 3! We deploy Beam Teams to help other nonprofit organizations deliver on their missions by serving meals at shelters, packing groceries at food pantries, and more!

We need YOU to shine your light!
You might have seen the lighthouse in LHM Foundation’s logo and wondered, “Where are there lighthouses in central Pennsylvania?” When you meet someone from LHM Foundation, you quickly learn that our message isn’t about the lighthouse, but about the bright beam emanating from its lamp.
LHM Foundation’s Beam Teams are made up of AMAZING volunteers who strive to be that light, serving their communities with love, compassion and grace.
