Amy Foerster

Chief Executive Officer

Amy has been an attorney in both public agency and private law firm settings for more than 25 years, currently serving as General Counsel for LHM Physical Therapy Institute, LLC. With a desire to help advance equitable access to education, Amy spent several years as counsel to the Pennsylvania Department of Education and, later, as general counsel and chief of staff to the president at Bucknell University. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Amy felt driven to find a new role where she could have a positive impact on those hit hardest by the pandemic. For more than two years, Amy stepped away from the practice of law to devote her time to volunteer efforts supporting the food insecure, unhoused and women participating in long-term drug and alcohol recovery programs. Amy has a bachelor’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and a juris doctor degree from the Dickinson School of Law. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, her three young adult children, and their dogs.
